Caroline attends a Backyard Picnic, put on by her girlfriend Helen Cornick. Helen wants to introduce Caroline to a couple of guys, she thought Caroline will become a romantic interest. A little after 5:00 pm, Caroline found herself sitting with a small group of Helen’s guests. There were three women, Virginia, Gabriela, and Ross. There were two men, Steven and Todd, all were sitting in the lawn chair, watching other guests enjoy the swimming pool.
Ross informed the group that she was having some issues with her Credit, she wanted to know if anyone here had any advice on Credit Counseling?
Helen informed the group that Caroline was very good at Credit Issues. Ross asked Caroline, could she help her with advice.
“Most Credit Counselors are non-profit and offer services at local offices, online, or on the phone.
Credit Counselors, help individuals with debt worry, develop a workable budget, save money for retirement.” Caroline took a sip of her Lemonade Drink. Todd asked her what is the “Cost of Credit Counselor?”
Cost of Credit Counselor
“Todd, remember that “non-profit” status doesn’t guarantee that service is Free or legitimate.
- Does the Service offer, free educational materials?
- Will there be a formal written agreement?
- Read all agreements first, and have an attorney look them over, before signing.
- Have all verbal promises in writing.
- Make Sure the Counseling Service is licensed to offer your services in the state you live in.
- Are the Counselors accredited or certified outside the organization?
Virginia, I like what I’m hearing, do you have PDF, which I could get my hands onto?
“Yes, here take down my email address, I will send everyone here a free copy of the PDF, I have on Credit.”
Todd looked over at Virginia and asked her to send Helen an email, with the Credit PDF. Virginia, knob her head, in agreement with Todd, request.
Steven asked Caroline the following question.
